In 2018, she became the founding principal of Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Kyle Academy, where she helped establish a strong culture of academic excellence. She then joined the Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Ingram Hills team in 2024, bringing with her over a decade experience and a deep commitment to student success. She us a graduate of the University of Texas at Brownsville and is passionate about building a joyful, rigorous learning environment where every child is known, valued, and set on the path to college.

As a 2016 graduate of Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with a degree in Education she followed her mother’s footsteps and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming an educator.

She began working with Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß public schools in 2017 as a 2nd grade math teacher at Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Weslaco Pike and then transitioned over to help open Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Ingram Hills as a founding Kinder teacher where she also served as grade team lead for 1st grade. Alyssa was then promoted to school leadership in 2020 serving as the Assistant Principal of Operations.

Alyssa believes in college for all children and is excited to be working with students and families in a different capacity since leaving the classroom. She holds high standards as she leads the operations team to ensure student learning is maximized throughout the school day.
